Drowning.

It’s scary to be in the ocean.
“It’s like the biggest swimming pool on earth,” i used to say to myself.
i believed i could survive the ocean.
Imagine. . .
IMAGINE!
i thought i could survive the ocean if i was left in the ocean.

It’s scary to be in the ocean.
Endless water. Ocassional waves.
Orcas, sharks, whales, manta rays, jellyfish and other animals we haven’t discovered yet.

It’s scary to be in the ocean.
There are fears i haven’t discovered yet, simply because I am far away from the ocean.
The ocean is endless water. Depths unknown. Moving waters.
The ocean is endless water. Endless thought. Endless emotion.

Drowining is simpler than anyone can imagine.
Maybe you survive three days, then your legs get tired on the fourth day.
Endless thought. Madness.
Depths the mind wasn’t created for.
Sights the mind isn’t ready for.

The ocean is why the planet is called blue, even though we all live on the green.

It’s scary to be in the ocean. Rolling waves come faster than ever. Drowning is bleak and survival seems almost impossible as the salty waves come endlessly, without ceasing. To be surrounded by water, further than the eyes can see. The ocean is the place man has not yet conquered or trained itself to live on – in.
Drowning. Salt. Water. No vision. Seering throat.
Rolling like the weeds at the bottom, except, untethered.
No control.

Water. Water. Water.
Endless water.
Arising parts of yourself you are unaware exist.
The ocean leaves you bare before yourself, questioning whether you can conquer it.
Surviving it . . . the myth of many.

The ocean. Deep. Endless. Powerful.
Mountains and valleys of water.
Caves of water.
Another world.
Deep. Endless. Powerful.
Dangerous.

i used to think i could survive the ocean.
That i could swim my away out of the depth and the water.
The ocean, i felt it.
To know the ocean truly, you must also know it when the sun is gone.
And that’s where we’re all scared. ‘Cause the moon is in charge.
And the waters can’t help but move to her rhythm.
